Sure, I could do the same but than why am I using a DSLR? Here's the problem: I took the same pic with an iPhone XR, and with a 10 second change in Snapseed got a photo better than this one. One problem you'll notice is the white haze - present in every photo I took. The attached photo is from Arches National Park in Utah. Yes I'm aware Lightroom could improve the workflow. I thought it would make sense for landscapes such as deserts and canyons. Before this trip I spent $500 on a Tamron 10-24mm lens. I started with a Nikon D90 ten years ago and upgraded to a D7100 which came with two mediocre kit lenses. I'm a DSLR hobby enthusiast - been doing for some years but could learn more. I just came back from a trip to the southwest US - canyons and national parks.
